Pizza Pigs in a Blanket

This little piggy isn’t made of hot dogs! Italian sausages stuffed with cheeses & wrapped in flaky pizza dough, this is one for the books!

Ingredients:
12 small Italian sausage links fully cooked
2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon dried oregano|
½ pound refrigerated pizza dough, at room temperature
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Warm marinara sauce for dipping

Directions:

Step 1:  Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the olive oil, rosemary and oregano together in a small bowl and set aside. Roll out the pizza dough into a 6 by 121 inch rectangle, and then cut the dough crosswise into twelve 1 inch wide strips.

Step 3: Wrap a strip of dough around each sausage and set on the prepared baking sheet with the ends of the dough on the bottom. Brush with the herb oil and sprinkle with the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake until the dough is golden brown about 12 minutes. Serve with marinara sauce.
