Banana Foster

It’s ok, you can skip right to dessert if you want to. No one will tell mom. It can be our little secret.

Ingredients:
3 bananas peeled and sliced lengthwise and crosswise
2/3 cup dark brown sugar
3 ½ tablespoons rum
1 tablespoon banana liquor
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup butter
1 pint vanilla ice cream

Directions:
In a large deep skittet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar, rum, banana liquor, vanilla and cinnamon. When mixture begins to bubble, put in the bananas. Cook until bananas are hot, about 1 to 2 minutes. Serve over vanilla ice cream.
